The TECHNOVISION AWARDS were created to honor the technology expertise and accomplishments in Kentuckiana and build awareness of the area’s technological growth. It was designed as an annual event, sponsored by local companies for a marketing tool, and motivating those in the industry. Eventually the producer would have a revenue-producing annual event.

The quality of the event was acclaimed by those in attendance, which was an exceptional number for a first year event. The business community embraced the event, especially the Venture Club, as it was part of their business focus.
